Hey there!
Congratulations to my Public Speaking students who finished out the year wonderfully! I am so proud of their accomplishments over the first semester. Welcome to the Research Paper students who officially start local class and online this week. Notes to consider:
1. Mid-term reports will be emailed to all high school families on Monday, January 31st. If you do not receive a mid-term report for your high schooler by then, please contact me on Tuesday.
2. I have never had a year where so many of my students' families are struggling in various ways. I am praying for all of you. I am asking that you take a moment to pray for each other and for my family. Pray for struggling marriages, financial issues, job loss and health (multiple parents battling cancer).
3. I am researching opportunities for my online students to "join" my local students using Skype or another similar service. I will send out information to those families who may benefit from this opportunity. However, I will not require students to participate this year. I'd like to try it out before possibly requiring it next year.
