I hope that each of your had a wonderful Christmas and that your new year has started out with blessings! I have prayed over each of your families for the coming year...that God will bless you tremendously with healing for some, jobs for others and just peace for all!
Please note that I will be out of town from Thursday, January 6th through Monday, January 10th as my 85-year-old father has been very ill. We are driving to Florida. We would covet your prayers for my father's health and our safe travel. On a more personal note, my father is not a believer. I am feeling very burdened to once again present him with the truth of the Gospel...my mother died in 2000 as a believer and I know he wants to see her again. Please pray that God would prepare my father's heart and give me the words to say.
I put a note to the students under "General Announcements" on the forum, but I wanted to let you know as well that you and your children are welcome to call me on my cell phone if you need me at anytime. I will probably not have access to email while I'm gone, but you won't bother me if you or your children call me. If you email me while I'm gone and I can't respond to email, I will be sure to respond on Tuesday, January 11th.
The local high school courses will meet tomorrow, January 5th. American Literature students will not have chat on Monday, January 10th. We will resume chat on January 17th. The High School Prep class will not meet again until Friday, January 14th.
I will be notifying students of any missed work this week, if applicable. Mid-term reports will come out at the end of January and all work must be turned in within the next two weeks for credit. Any late work will have points deducted for being overdue.
Have a blessed week and again, do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance.
In Christ,

Safe travels and we will be praying for you & your family.
