HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I couldn't resist selecting this artwork for this week's blog! I taught first grade for several years and I loved the turkeys that my students made each year. They added such a sweetness to the holiday season!
I am thankful for those children, and all of the other children, that I have had the privilege to teach over the years. So, let me say thank you to all of you who have entrusted me with your most precious young people.
I pray that you all have a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving holiday!
This week's poem by one of my American Literature students is as follows:
Your winds are great
They travel far and wide
To bring Your glory
To cease the times
Now Lord, please, hear me now
Take me where Your mercies flow
Show me things You’ve never shown
I trust You Lord,
With all my might
Please declare through me
Your loving grace
So I may show
Your marvelous Face
They travel far and wide
To bring Your glory
To cease the times
Now Lord, please, hear me now
Take me where Your mercies flow
Show me things You’ve never shown
I trust You Lord,
With all my might
Please declare through me
Your loving grace
So I may show
Your marvelous Face
